Embarrassingly the following two plants are at 19 days from seed, currently got them under a 400w hps after switching from a 200cfl. why wont they grow !!!:cry:

ive also used cheap soil and there is a lack of air into the room, clearly i bare no threat to howard marks, just wondered what is the main contributing factor (if not everything ive done) that i can pay more attention to detail next time?

Hey guys, so basically i have 3 autos and a regular plant, had them under a 200w cfl for 2 weeks in small pots then transported to larger pots and put under a 400w hps. the room temp is a constant 80f and i have just started to feed with some miracle grow, 20/4 cycle, blatently left it far too...

think im gonna get a cool tube and that silver hose and stick it out the window, getting quite hot the last few days !! how long will my plants survive in excess heat what problems may this generate?

how long will the plants survive untill i get this sorted? is there an ything i can do to slow down heat death extra water etc?

Ok so i am growing in a standard sized wardrobe, and i just switched by babies from a 200cfl to a 400hps and the heat level in the room allready is insaaaaaneeee, this has to sorted out soon but i just wondered what my options are, ive seen alot about both cool tubes and a heat reduction light...

also do any shops in the uk sell soil?!? just back from a B&Q superstore and although they offered thousands of varieties of compost there was only a couple of bags of top soil they sold !! also visited afew smaller gardening shops that also had no soil on sale? very bizzare!!

Bought some all purpose 6-5-5, around what point should i start using it? im planning to switch my planmts to a 400w hps from the cfl200 im currently using on day 12 and also repot them into larger pots, shall i perhaps wait untill 15-16 days untill i start using the nutrients?

Im a very poor student with a tenner to my name and unfortunately can only afford a bottle of miracle grow for my veg phase. my plants are all 11 days old, just wondered what i should be looking for on the bottle as it is my first grow, any specifics i need to keep an eye out for, nitrogen etc...
