Dying Plants month in flower

my nutes are 4.0-3.1-5.5 if I were giving a full dose. I only give half so I suppose they would be 2-1.5-2.75 not sure if they are considered chemical or not..I had always heard botanical was organic but not completely. But yes, I'll flush and add more lime..should I add it before I flush to...

    Dying Plants month in flower

This ocean forest soil has been Jamaican me crazy...I used to use a soilless mix from bontanicare and never had the problems I do with ocean forest. So just to recap: -I'll redo the ph test -top dress with more lime -should I flush? With nutes?

    Dying Plants month in flower

I'll try this test again...I think I may have put in too much water compared to how much soil was in the tupperware

    Dying Plants month in flower

I agree, it does appear I need more nitrogen...Should I flush the plant first? Even with a flush, how do I raise the PH of my soil? more lime?

    Dying Plants month in flower

Thanks Jack! I actually did this last night (got the idea from your post) So I put the distilled water (6.0) into about 2 tablespoons of soil, shook it up in some tupperware and waited a couple hours...I then tested the water (with those ph drops from general hydroponics...I don't have a...

    Dying Plants month in flower

thanks Dr. Yeah, I top dressed them about a month ago with lime but it didn't seem to help much..I actually think the runoff now is closer to 6.0 but its still low. So flush WITH nutes as opposed to just water?

    Dying Plants month in flower

After much research and much conflicting advice I'm still not really sure what's going on. Is this a PH lockout issue or a burn? Nitrogen issue? Cal-mag? calcium? all of the above? 2x600 hps...

general hydroponics test kit drops. I've tried watering with higher PH'd water...has this worked for you?

Yellow/dying leaves in Flower...THANK YOU in advance!!

Thanks for the response...No, I don't bubble my water. By that you mean a pump with an airstone? I've desperately been trying to raise the PH of my soil...I've top dressed with lime but doesn't seem to have done much

Yellow/dying leaves in Flower...THANK YOU in advance!!

I'm measuring runoff with the good old GH ph drops. Plants are about 2-3 feet (if they weren't tied down) in 2.5-3 gallon pots.

Yellow/dying leaves in Flower...THANK YOU in advance!!

thanks for the response.. yeah, I suspect a PH lockout as well...(assuming runoff ph is a good indicator of the actual ph of the soil...i've heard contrasting things about this) frustrating part is there seems to be no way to fix it..I've added lime a month ago and didn't seem to do much to...
