this is my first grow. three weeks ago some animal or something broke a branch on plant so i taped it with white medical tape. i removed the tape today but i think it doesn't look good as it should, or am i wrong? what should i do????

here's my first plant. It's 6+ ft big, i heard it will grow double this size till flowering(start of august), i don't want it too big in hight, should i tide the main.tops to the stick? would that make it grow more bushier? i alredy tided the branches so the lower ones have more light. (:
