Wouldn't worry too much mate, give them time. My bloody nirvana northern light auto fems have taken over 3 days! 5 have been put into soil but the other 5 haven't even got roots yet! Normally 95% successful at germing, but i'm sure they'll come through.

As a guess, i can't see why it would be a problem, unless is is disproportionately rich in one nutrient. At the end of the day it's just ancient plant matter i guess... Maybe worth doing a bit of research to see what's in it, and then seeing if that can cause any issues. Worth a try though...

Mate, 125cfl will be fine for one plant! The rule of thumb iirc with cfls is 100w per plant. And it should be fine on the windowsill for the time being... even better in the garden if possible though. Get that bitch under the light asap though. Happy growing, enjoy the tomatoes

If you search through a few threads, judging a plant to be ready by its looks without a scope, most of the hairs go red, and everything tends to darken up. That still looks pretty fresh

CFL if you want to keep the heat down, HPS for more yield, but more heat will come with that yield. A 400 shouldn't cause you too much trouble though
