Yes, I get the yellower leaves closer to harvest. I dont get any yellowing near the to at all and hardly any at the bottom. But they are always on a strict nutes schedule..and always pull off a nice heavy dense potent yield

If you want a denser yield vs. More airey wispy buds then yes lollypopping or trimming off all the small scraggley stuff on the bottom of your girls and the bottom of you branches. This allows for plant energy that was going to the trimmed off, to the canopy and buds. Thinning, trimming...

Start your flush 2 weeks from finish, and make sure your water has a correct ph..if you want a good taste and your growing a primo strain you need to flush. Otherwise you can get that chemical or chlorophyl taste.

Either is fine, as long as your ph is good. As your plants like a ph of about 6.6-6.8, but some strains like a different ph, depending on where the strain came. But that usually isn't the case. What strain are you growing? And water also depends on the plant. A good test is to stick your finger...

oh haha, how do you like the vertical grow? I think it makes a big different, last time around put my 430w hps with the enhanced blue spectrum on the side. And the 600w hps above shining down. But I think I would like to have the 600w hps in the middle vertically and have it on a light rotator...

I noticed no one has really posted anything about pruning for larger yields..so I am starting this thread for people to post any info or tips about pruning for yield and lolly popping.

Well from what it looks like,with the pale green at the bottom and yellowing is from a lack of nitrogen..if it's magnesium it will start on the lower leaves. The veins will remain green while the rest o the leaf will turn yellow and eventually will curl up n die. And the edges will feel dry and...
