So on Hlgs website it says the driver is 240-480 watts. I assumed that meant the dimmer turned all the way down was 240 watts and the dimmer turned all the way up was 480. Well I bought a meter and each hlg 550 rspec I have turned all the way down pulls 180 watts and all the way up pulls 500...

On top of the driver there is a black piece that you can pop out and use a little screw driver to dim it down. Pretty sure the hlg 550s are 240-480w so I assume the screw turned all the way down would be 240(which is what they are on) and all the way up would be the 480. No I do not know the...

Well one side of the tent is off. It would only be two hlg 550 on full over a 4x8. I felt like that was too much which is why they are 2 feet 50% dimmed currently.

I just bought a few 320 kits in 4000k for a veg! But currently I just have two 10x10 flower tents with 4 550 rspecs a piece. I have been vegging since the start under the rspecs, but I am only doing that this first time. I plan to get a veg going as well.

I also heard you want the temps to be a little higher during veg. Right now my tent stays around 80-82 constantly. I heard you should be shooting for around 85 with quantum boards. Any input on this? If I turn both lights up and raise them I could generate additional heat inside the tent.

They make extension kits for the grow tents, can go all the way from 7-10ft in 1ft increments.

The tent has not even shipped yet its as easy as to just cancel it I am pretty sure. But I could just use the tent in the living room lol. I would just have to put a little piece of panda film up so you cant see it through this cutout in the front room wall when you open the door.

Exactly why I am going to avoid putting it there. Last thing I want is any unwanted attention. Thats why I wanted to move the 9x9 tent out of the den and put it in the back room, but the back room is only 9.5x9.5

Its a gorilla grow tent. There would prob be like half a foot above a tent. I mean would a 8x8 make that much better of a difference over a 9x9?

I would prefer not to use the room, either swap the tent for a 8x8 or try to make the 9x9 fit.
