i would think there's a diminishing return in this whole reusing hydroton thing. If you're using 10 gallons of hydroton in your grow, isn't that a big enough grow to support replacing the hydroton? I'm only saying because i would probably never wash that much, especially after a week of drying...

unsafe imho. even with h202 you really should be under 75 at all times. Some people will probably say 70, i know mine says 62-72 and is just fine with h202. One frozen two litre pop bottle drops a 20l res about 10 degrees in my personal observtion.
