    light leaks in grow tent

Best way to solve a small leak is duct tape, easy as can be. A larger one will require some plastic, and duct tape.

Help i need to keep the temps down im my grow box

This right here, is a super good idea. It's what I do. during the winter it saves on heating as at night, the coldest time its running and heating your room. And during the summer it saves on cooling, because the lights are not generating heat during the hottest point during the day. It goes...

    DWC ?'s

1: As often as need be, the rule of thumb is once you have topped it off (water only) to replace more than half of the total water absorbed you should completely change the water and re-nut up. 2: I am sure that plays a part in it, but it is also do to how much is actually used. 3: that is a...

    Hydroton pulling moisture from air?

You are most likely over looking another reason, what is your humidity % right now? The only way I could see to add a humidifier is because the % is below 10 on average, as30-40 is ideal and you don't want much above that(save for clones, which a humidity dome works much better). My relative...

Help i need to keep the temps down im my grow box

Best, and cheapest way, is to get a 24 case of bottles water, and freeze it, and each day put 1 or 2 in, and replace the next day, you will have to monitor the temp to see how many bottles is optimal for your needs.

    Highest Yield Tactics

If you are outside and have the space, I highly suggest tieing down your plants, almost like a scrog, take every main branch and make it grow horizontal.

    what a mess

If you grow as well as you write I don't think you have much of a chance, just buy your weed.

    just another light question

If your a Journeyman, then you know, as I do, also being a licensed electrician, that it will shorten the life of the bulb considerably at best.

    just another light question

It will destroy the bulb, the bulb will last a small fraction of its life span.

Growing only ONE plant, how many lights?

It is a bit heavy for one plant, but I suggest a MH/HPS combo light, they make ballasts that support both, but I thinkt he smallest is 400. A 250 would be ideal for only one plant but a larger light will only increase your yield. If you get the combo you can use MH for the 18/6 or 24/0 (whatever...

    Transitioning into Hydro from soil

I thought about that, but went yhe heater route, because during the summer, with the lights, I feel heat will be harder to combat than cold during the winter.

    Transitioning into Hydro from soil

I grow in an outdoor shed, my grandfather built 50 years ago. Most of it is well insulated, but the floor is not and its raised about 4 inches from the ground so there is a lot of air moving under it. , and during the winter it can be 80 int he room and the rez is still 40, on the other hand, I...

    time to flush

Disregard this poster. Not only does he not know what hes talking about, he is unfortunately trying to bring others down with him. Flushing has one main benefit, it WILL increase taste, and if you do it during the last week, it will NOT hurt your plant. What it does, is helps draw out the...

    Transitioning into Hydro from soil

Ebb and flow is one of the older systems, so it garnishes a lot of respect. It is what I used first. That being said, go with DWC. It is easier to set up, and easier to maintain, and easier to run, and it boasts better results. If you go with a 5 gallon bucket for each plant the benefits are...

How do i clean out my inline fan?

unless you want to take it down, remove the housing and manually clean it, I would suggest that. BUT, simply blow from the opposite side of the fan, more specifically, the back, that would be sucking the air, that way you only rotate it the correct way, or just hold the blade still while blowing.

    my turn for a problem...........

Neem oil is what I use. Its 100% natural and not bad for you or the plants in anyway. You can spray the plants up to every 3 days, and I think you should until the problem is under control, then once every week. Even as it stands, I would personally stop using it by flush, because it does have a...
