I bloom under a 4ft 4bulb t5 with 6500k bulbs from time to time. Yields are nothing to brag about but better then not using the light at the moment. Its gets big biddah cheese nice and frosty.

4x10 should be good for a passive intake for your cab. I think the passive on my 4x4 tents (104 cubic ft) are 6x12 and I only have one open on each. Edit: I think the rule of thumb according to the grow bibles is to use a passive intake twice the size of the exhaust.

I would keep that fan and just buy a $25 fan speed controller. The extra cfm's from that fan may come in handy if you upgrade to more watts or if your cab gets hot in the summer. with your small cab even if you dimmed that fan to 25% your still exhausting your cab in 10-15 seconds which is...

Get a 4" fan/ filter combo and a speed controller. You can get all 3 from virtualsunhydroponics.com (or another website) for about 175. I say get the speed controller too because a 192cfm 4" fan sucks the walls in on my 4x2x5 tent lije a vaccum, I assume it will do the same to a 3x3.

Ive read the same but havnt had a problem with it. My ac's blowing air into my tent, and at floor level the temps 65°. My night temps at canopy drop to 65° also. as far as plants seeming weak how old are your plants and what size pot are they in?

i agree. Once there hardened off 12" is a great distance with a 600. 26c isnt too hot but you dont want it much hotter and if there already isnt get a fan in there blowing over your ladies.

69-70° (21c) is a bit on the cool side you dont want it to drop any lower from there. I would try the hps again 80° (27c) isnt to bad. my first two runs were 80-85 with lights on and I didnt have problems. now I like to keep my temps around 75 lights on.

If you went t5 you could just raise the pots of the smaller plants. I like t5 for moms and veg for the same reason cannabinner said. Every plant has the light source directly over it. T5 bulbs cost more then mh but if I remember correctly there lumen output doesnt drop as fast as a mh bulb...

Ive tried a mix of 2700k and 6500k in a sunblaze 44 and 48 and prefer just 6500k bulbs for veg. I personaly felt like it kept the node spacing the tightest.

There great for veg, I personaly would never bloom with them.

Thanks man ive been interested in making this for my wife. She is going through chemo for stage 3 stomach cancer at 26 years old. Within a few months they want to remove her stomach and reconstruct a new one, i feel bad for her.

hd, lowes or menards has pro-mix for $10-13 a 4 cubic foot bale. Thats pretty cheap. I use it as is in airpots but in a standard pot id add a little perlite to help with drainage.
