    3x3 400w grow tent

I prefer to run perpetual if you have a separate veg area. In a 3x3, I'd have 1 Plant ready to harvest, 1 2 weeks away from harvest, 1 4 weeks from harvest and 1 that's 2 weeks into flower. As soon as 1 goes, another replaces it. Much more efficient use of space, plus you'd get a plant every 2...

    3x3 400w grow tent

I agree that your plant count might be a bit high. 3x3 holds 4 nice sized ladies. Also, the air intake can be passive. The intake fans could potentially pressurize the tent and leak dank air. A 6 inch fan is more than capable of pulling air in passively. Just my $0.02

    DIY LED NOOB

Are you looking at the same drive currents? Unless there is a new version of something, I would have put huge money that they were the same. Maybe I'm too high.

    DIY LED NOOB

I buy mine from digikey, they're right down the street from me though. Big cheap heatsinks can be found on ebay sometimes. It takes some calculations but it can pay off.

Pictures of your DIY lights - Post your pics!!!

If I remember correctly, it's something like 53-54% efficiency and I have 272 total watts. It's been a while since i ran the numbers. I have a cheap light meter that I used to check the variance. I'm sure it's not accurate to the real world, but accurate enough to see if I have hot spots. 8 V22s...

Strain dependant for nugs size, but they're all nice and tight. I'm very satisfied with the low amp perimeter lighting.

4 300ma v18s on the small bars on each end and 700ma v22s along the sides on the bigger sinks. The wiring is a mess in the pics, it was a trial run before I cleaned it all up. Less than 5% variance in light levels across the whole canopy.

Bridgelux V series. The v22 is the same as a Vero 29 with no mounting holes and about half the price.

    DIY LED NOOB

I have 16 cobs as perimeter lighting, nothing in the middle and the lighting is even to within 5% at the canopy. I'd move the 4 bigger cobs out further towards the corners.

I have spare LEDs!! Is this ok to do???

+1 on that. I think a major advantage of LED is the option to create a much more evenly lit canopy. I have a 30x36 cabinet with 16 cobs as perimeter lighting and nothing in the middle. My light levels vary less than 5% across the entire canopy. No way you can get that with a single bulb.

3 CLW SolarSystem 550 and 4 Timber CXB 3590 DIY kits

I'll be doing a side by side of the 550 vs my own COBs. I have 8 V22s at 700ma and 8 v18s at 300ma for a total of 272 watts in a 30x36 cabinet. I'll post a new thread as soon as I get the 550.

How long do you veg using soil? Do they keep growing in Flower?

I don't even pay attention to veg times, whenever they're big enough to go into the flowering cabinet. Low light intensity will help make them stretch in veg.

Has anyone used supersoil and only dressed it through veg and then used bud blaster or other types

Your supersoil should be a stand alone that needs no supplements at all. If you are top dressing, don't use supersoil, use earth worm castings.

Citi? Vero? Is this the end of Cree?

Why don't you use the V22 chips? The same performance for less $

my ladys in flower and her leaves dont look well.

1 day at 12/12 isn't enough to trigger flowering. Your ladies would look at that like 1 cloudy day.
