I just started running low pressure sprayers which is not true aero and I found I need to run a higher ec that with other systems I've ran. With true high pressure aero I'm sure lower nutes are required. I run 1.4-1.5 in veg and upto 2 in flower.

As coldsmoke has said multiple times, any light will grow a plant. So OP, why yes you can use a t8. Will t8's grow huge big buds? Nope lol. I have had some ok results with my T5's but kill it with hids. If heat is issue then T5's would be a good choice as well imo. Never tried the led's at HD...

Basically it was the other "long time growers", the same ones that promote Jacks that say it is impossible to impart taste from the nutrients used. I fail to understand why this could be the case. Im not saying you can improve taste but imo you sure can ruin it lol.

At that time I was running nutes from higrow corp. A local manufacturer. It was a product called pure flowers that caused the taste issue. I am now running H&G aquaflakes and except for price I like the results.

Just had a discussion in another thread re: some nutrients affecting the taste, in my case negatively. In that thread, I believe a few said it was not possible to transfer taste to the plant using certain nutes. Has any one had a product that negatively affected taste? And if that was true would...

If its legal to grow it can you not just go buy seeds at the seed store. I drive less than ten minutes to the seed store (there are three) and ironically its illegal to grow them .

It only happened with one particular product so I kind of ruled out anything enviromental. I also i only used it the one time and the bud tasted like the nutrient smelled. I just think if it happened with that particular product it could happen with others but again only happened with that...
