I'd like to thank rollitup for the work put into both the forum and the live chat. Don't know what I would have done without the FAQs and posts of experienced (and less experienced) growers - love seeing the photos of the different grows!

I may try this. It's not that I don't enjoy chatting politics, but not on this forum (personal preference) though fine by me if others want to.

Have never seen it offered around this area. Typically, the going price for a zip here that may (or may not be) comparable is 400 plus.

I don't know enough to comment, really, and probably shouldn't - but does that plant look stretchy to you (or is it just me)? I'm on Experimental Plants No. 2, and am using a couple of fluoro tubes in a 4-foot fixture along with a couple of spiral CFS for side light. It's not my ideal lighting...

What kind of soil is it in? You might want to turn it regularly so it grows upright evenly. Hope it lives!

I use paper towel for germinating; the seeds usually crack within 24 to 48 hours. I moisten a paper towel real well, fold it in quarters, and then place the seeds in the middle of the folds. Then I place the paper towel with seeds on a plate, and cover the plate with plastic wrap and place on...

How many feet from the door to the opposite wall facing the door? Graphic reproductions of space to be utilised for grow seems the intelligent thing to do - kudos for thoughtful planning. Good luck with the grow!

Welcome to the forum : your plant looks green and alive and in my book that's good enough for starters. I too am in the process of experimenting with bagseed until I can get my environment the way I want it and the money to invest in seedstock. Good luck on your grow!

I think some of the wisest advice I've received from experienced growers is : don't tell anyone what you're doing (at least not in meatspace). Good luck on your grow!

My partner wants to use CFLs with maybe some other lighting that's not HID. Perhaps he will convince me it's possible to do so, and grow sufficently so that I am able to self-supply (I hope so) - we'll see!

Aren't there different climates in Australia? I'd think that would make a difference (but then again, what I know about Australia would fit in a kangaroo's pouch)
