I'm using 2x Philips CMH bulbs in a A-Wing Avenger shade.

They do have more resin on the buds under the cmh bulb and I did notice they do finish earlier which is a bad thing when it comes to weight. I will do the same next run cmh for veg and HPS for flowering.

I am running the 3100K with the more red spectrum. The 4200K he talks about is for vegging but he still got good results.

Yeah I have 4, 15 inch fans blowing over the canopy. I will update you in a few week now the HPS is running. Also I will take a couple of pics before the HPS comes on to show you what they look like as the attached photo of that bud doesn't really show the problem.

Done, I swapped it out half way through this run because it was the only thing I could think of doing to try and save this crop. I think it can only be three things the bulbs, the genetics or the garage doesn't have enough air being brought in to supply the 4 plants.

That purple cake looks nice. The problem I had with choosing seeds was they all looked good :). I purchased a lot of seeds last time and I still can't believe they all had bad genetics it's just not possible, well you would think so.

Still 2x new bulbs and good ballasts being faulty, maybe one but not two it's unlikely but not completely impossible. I will look at the breeders you mentioned, I can only buy from breeders that will send to Austraalia.

Sounds good I will stop after this one and kill all the clones no point growing another batch just to have the same problem I will buy some seeds from ILGM and next time switch to my HPS for flowering. If after that I still have this problem I will just have to stop.

I have come across other forums about people growing from start to finish with cmh. My mates friends all grow with these bulbs and have great results and good yields. I have a HPS now and if this fixes the problem I will be happy.

Thanks for that I was look at ILGM the other day and they do post to Australia so I will give them a go. I will be so P off if I find all the seeds I purchased are dudes.

They have been but most of my plants have been from seed. But due to this problem I was told to take clones so if they turn out good I can keep the strain instead of re-vegging. Still I want to just grow from seed because I will stop over the summer months as it's too hot.
