Recently picked up an 8oz bottle of GH pH up, 8oz of pH down, and a bottle of drops for $13 shipped. Lasts me about a year. Consistency has me at point where I can add pH up to my rainwater before ferts, add fertilizer, and come out at 6.5.

Guessing a low pH/calcium issue. Straight peat is acidic, adding fertilizer will drop pH further. Your soil and ferts are lacking calcium, and the low pH would make it unavailable if it were in the soil.
