I've been using water from a marsh/swamp with no problems. My plants love it, as long as the ph isn't way off you should be fine. Ideal Ph is around 6.5 for soil by the way. Hope it works for you:bigjoint:

I grew some AK 48 in a bunch of composted horse manure last year with stellar results. As long as it is composted well you should be fine. I would only use about 20-30% manure however. Go for it:eyesmoke: Tex

Water is the most important, and here in the US most cities fluoridate their water supplies. Water fluoridation is a technique the Nazis developed to keep internment campers nice and calm. Its worth looking into if you haven't heard of it.

You may want to test the ph of your water source. Could be causing your problems. Also, 2x2' holes are fine in decent soil and you can always go bigger, but the more well amended potting soil you have the bigger your plants will be. Good luck this season :weed:
