Yea that is what I thought too. I am tempted to add it to the rez though like a day or two before a water change, maybe in flower with mature plants. I mean a lot of people think organics make for better quality flower but you cant sustain hydro with organics right..

Now is it possible to mix a CompostTea and give it to your hydro plants? Or is that more for soil?

What did u like best? I heard from someone that alot of folks use the GH stuff. I am using Dyna-Gro Veg for now. My first gro i used MG and soil=killed it. I was not adding Cal+Mag to the MG with the already high nitro. Not an expert, never claimed to be.

oh well what do u use for base nutes? I am newb so and I have not had good luck so far with nutes and hydro. I tried to grow without media basket and it went south eventually. I tried to grow without Cal+Mag (unbeknownst to me) and it went south eventually. So did my water quality fluctuations...

And that alone would leave you without any Po so maybe a half and half mix is in order. Throw in some mag sufate while were at it and yea or you could take a tbsp of mag sufate in a gal of ro water and spray em foliar feed just the mag sulfates. idk

So the led plants were smaller than hid. You said you thought the led plants were different phenotypes but they were both under the leds btw.

I have not tried this but you might go for lava rock pebbles? Pumice is light although it might float so.... If you crushed the lava rocks then screened them with 1/2" hardware cloth then rinsed the dust they would be similar to clay pebbles. You could even boil them before use to keep...
