Does weed know when its going to be dark? And can that cause the leaves to droop? Because it seems like about an hour before the light are about to go out “9:15AM Central Time” some of the leaves will droop not many on the lower plant but mainly on the top of the plant i know its not over/under...

Autoflower afghan kush. Very early flower and i was wondering can trim all the branches/leaves that arent making buds? Especially the ones way lower on the stalk? Because they’re is so many and its making everything difficult but i dont wanna kill my plant or slow growth please help
