I have been using guanos, chicken manures and a fish hydroslate this time around and i do the same thing 3 different buckets, except have them all aerated and I don't use them until they bubble for at least 48 hours and have a nice froth on top!
So hard for me to get out of the protect microbe train of thought but
If want a sterile water source it would be perfect! Do you use h2o2 in your res? Just curious...like I said I have never done hydro...
There are a lot of things to consider to answer you correctly. If it's not your only plant...cover before moving and treat it as if it were an armed explosive...if it is your only plant you can try to pick out the bananas if they haven't opened...if they are open and have pollinated a lot of...
I will admit i don't know hydro that well but I just can't see adding nutrients and changing the balances of npk ratios just to satisfy the ph lvl to be easy or wise? Especially since he doesn't even know his waters
Ph to begin with? Or did I completely miss read that he was using untested...
Lol...my plants say other wise u do have to be careful otherwise you bring your ph down too far causing lock out again! Sorry I should have clarified my first post...you absolutely should be worried your high ph as this is causing your lock out...only way to solve that is by adding something to...

If I had to try dwc with out fish I would try guano knowing what I know....sun leaves has a good line of 4 different types with a wide rang of npk ratios just be careful with guano hight in N as it will burn! Also Alaskan morabloom is nice for flowing as it is 0-10-10...eddha iron is he only...
It works well...I had a 35k gal dwc system growing veggies! All organic! Only down side is getting the water cultured! Can take anywhere from 2-8 months and even longer at cooler temps. Also if using Organics like this you need a space for the bacteria to live and eat...so some sort if a filter...
