Directly in the center under the light? or off to the side some? Directly in the center under the light is hot as hell.

If I measure on the edge of the grow room in the light I get about mid to high 80's. If I measure just above the light I get high 70's to low 80's. Am I doing ok? 600watt MH conversion bulb in there right now. Will switch to 600watt HPS for flowering.

Pardon my newbness, but aren't the carbon filters designed to work in-line with a fan and exhaust ducting? I can just sit another fan in front of a carbon filter anywhere in the spare bedroom and it will get rid of the smell just fine?

I don't want to cut a hole in the door and I can't think of any other way. The closet is in a spare bedroom that I want to be able to quickly convert back to a "normal" room. Just in case a relative announces coming to town with hardly any notice or something like that.

What's the best way for me to eliminate odor? I don't think I can use a carbon filter setup because I plan to grow in a walk-in closet with the door open. There's no exhaust really, so how would this be done? Do those ONA blocks work? Thanks in advance

Thanks guys. One more question is it better to start them in a small pot and then transplant them to a bigger pot. Or is it ok to just start out with a big pot? Thanks in advance

I read on this forum that a good method of germinating seeds is to place them in an inch of warm water for 24 hours and then plant them in soil. How deep should I plant them in the soil after doing this?

Only 4 oz from 8 plants? Shouldn't even a rookie be able to get 1 oz per plant?
