They generally recover quite quickly in DWC from my experience as the water & nutes are directly available to the plant you should see your plant back the way it was maybe in as little as a couple of hours.. How long was the res empty for? & how old is the plant?

Ph'd tap water is fine.. I have always used it straight from the tap, used ph up or down to adjust accordingly to the medium I am growing in.. Most water in th UK is hard which means it has quite a high mineral content so you may need to get a EC meter to work out how much minerals your water...

I have mine in coco & I was watering my Lowryder 2's 3-4 times a day, they sure have a big thirst for such stout plants, that became a bit of a chore so I put them both in my Autopot system & they are drinking just over 2 litres each every 24 hours..
