If you spliced a top from an auto onto the bottom / roots of a photo, would that top autoflower or would it be photosensitive? If you spliced a top from a photo plant onto the bottom of an autoflower would that top autoflower with the rest of the plant or just not flower? Anybody ever try this?

Thanks guys, I definitely feel better about it now. I was panicking but they're still growing well so far. My mistake in the past has been doing too much or correcting a "problem" that's not real. I've been trying to adopt the "less is more" mindset lol

Thanks for the perspectives. I know it's bad to water to runoff with a water only soil, just didn't know how bad. It sounds like it's a medium-ish mistake and I'll have to wait and see what happens. I will let them dry out and then will probably top dress with some of the super soil to get ahead...

Just starting flowering. I'm growing a verity of autoflowers and I accidentally watered them all to runoff for the first time. I'm using promix as the base media and kind hot soil in the bottom third of the pots. Has anybody done this before and how bad is it??!? I'd day about 2 cups of runoff...

Thanks @Koheleth. I forgot to give you some props on the watering idea too - sorry about that!! I've definitely learned my lesson about underwatering now too. Last grow was overwatered lol. And now these damn mites, gotta work on keeping my tent free of critters. I think they came from a damn...

@Blitz35, how did your yield turn out after you treated for the mites?

Dried pistils

They're autos so can't really stop the flowering

I do have some bud formation on one plant that I sprayed with Spinosad yesterday and the pistils got a little dried up looking. I'm guessing not to use pyrethrin on that one? Maybe scrap that plant? Here it is...

There are a fair amount of eggs on the leaves I'm looking at.. I think they are spider mites cause I saw some webbing..... Realistically though, how likely is it that I can fix or manage this since I'm already starting flowering?? I'm thinking of just scrapping this grow curling up in the fetal...

Or maybe russet mites idk? Some kind of mites I think they had 2 spots inside of them and they're kinda translucent

Ok this sucks. I found some broad mites in my tent on a different plant. I sprayed everything with Spinosad but I'm pretty discouraged at this point. This grow has been a headache since germination. Suggestions? I'm assuming that they're on my plant that I posted here about too but I haven't...

I used a 60x and it's adjustable to 120x but didn't see anything with either strength

Dudesss... I think I may have figured out the problem thanks to @Blitz35! Underwatering! So you think this looks better? I soaked the medium completely and that girl perked right up.

I scoped but didn't see mites, or anything moving anywhere. I was looking around on different leaves for about 25 minutes but didn't see anything. Looked at top and bottom parts of the leaves and some of the preflowering areas but saw nothing
