Which foods do you grow indoors?

Hi LC (I may not share your politics but you're obviously a devotee to the God of Gardening). In the UK the railways have lots of land that in unsuitable for most types of development - being next to the tracks - but it's perfect for allotments* As you leave the inner city areas, and enter...

Re-potting Plants Growing in Hydroton (Clay Pebbles).

From the context of the thread no one could think it was my photo and, in this game, crediting people with responsibility could be perceived badly. WHAT ABOUT THE 'ROOTS COMING OUT OF THE BOTTOM' THING??? Will that be a problem???

Week 2 of flower all natural

More light would increase potential yield and you could combat the heat with extra ventilation (bigger inline extraction fan) a cheap dimmer switch can be used as a fan speed controller for when you want to slow the fan down (when it's dark and temps already start dropping). Does that...

Re-potting Plants Growing in Hydroton (Clay Pebbles).

In my 18lt pots - YES But I haven't used the 6.5lt pots yet. I imagine it will be a case of tapping them out very gently over something that will catch any falling debris. (But I am a bit nervous about trying it).

    Idea: weed social network

There's a similar site devoted to IV heroin users. Every month they have an 'EXTREME IV SHOT' where junkies with terrible vascular systems compete to inject into the most outrageous vein. Last month it was a guy injecting into the vein on the underside of his scrotum. I always said I'd...

    Idea: weed social network

Terrapins carry salmonella (Isn't there any way we can get these IT people thrown off the site? Every day there's another shit software based idea! Weed about freedom and the outdoor sunshine.....these fucking computer geeks bring me down, man!).

    Christiana - Copenhagen

Scandinavia is expensive Denmark is not a producing country Get ready to pay top prices for average smoke. Personally I'd keep my expectation low (for weed, hash) and enjoy everything else about the place. Danish women can be quite amazing - if you like tall Amazonian types.

What are some good strains for outdoors?

I read that seedlings are 25% stronger than clone cuttings and that can make all the difference for outdoor grown plants. Would you agree/disagree that growing from seed creates plants that stand a greater chance of success than planting cuttings taken from clone mothers????

    Advice Needed. SIMPLE COMPOST HEAP

Cheers There's no wood shavings. And the hay is leftovers from before the Guinea Pig died. It's mostly LOTS of tiny, hard little droppings and left over dried food.

    Advice Needed. SIMPLE COMPOST HEAP

I can just make a simple pile and, occasionally, turn it? The UK weather is relentlessly cold, dark and wet at the moment. Won't that cause problems?

    Advice Needed. SIMPLE COMPOST HEAP

For the last few weeks I've been separating my refuse. Tea bags, Potato peel, vegetable scrapings, egg shells....have gone into 12 litre buckets. I now have 3 of them that are full. WHAT'S A VERY SIMPLE COMPOSTER - That I could construct? I have a spare plastic garbage bin (the 4ft high...

Re-potting Plants Growing in Hydroton (Clay Pebbles).

This picture is the same plant as the hydroton root ball, above. https://www.rollitup.org/attachments/newbie-central/1207534d1286904653-4-plants-seed-experiment-pict0770.jpg QUOTE FROM VOSTOK - Avoid transplanting at all costs, best to go for the initial 15-18 liter pots from the start...

Re-potting Plants Growing in Hydroton (Clay Pebbles).

The above link is a picture of a pot of hydroton being held together by the roots of the plant that had been grown in it. It seems that re-potting 18" high plants, at the end of the VEG phase, can be done as one would do it with plants VEGGED in other grow mediums. I will still make a point of...

Re-potting Plants Growing in Hydroton (Clay Pebbles).

It's not an option I have a 4 x 4 tent with the 20 x 6.5lt pots and a 8 x 4 tent with the 18lt pots. Small for VEG and big for FLOWER. I also have the Canna Aqua Vega A&B nutes and 350lt of hydroton. Could I veg in rockwool or something - then plant the rockwool in the hydroton for...

    50 Year old Mary Jane

WHY? The psychoactive parts degenerate with age and the strength of the 1960's weeds was already much lower than the stuff we have now. So lucky to smoke weed that was weak, is now extremely weak and will probably taste like powdered shit. And 1964 is a bit early for the hippy movement...

Re-potting Plants Growing in Hydroton (Clay Pebbles).

I haven't used the Wilma 20 pots. yet. I have 24 cuttings in the prop, 20 x 6.5lt pots filled with Hydroton and ready to go and 9 x 18lt pots containing plants on there 22nd day of flower. It's a part perpetual that just needs the timings perfected. POT LINERS I saw some papier mache...
