Thats actually the exact fan I was looking at. How loud is it and how effective? I saw a youtube video comparing 4 fans (maxfan,can fan, the active air, and 1 other cheaper one) and the maxfan and canfan did WAY better than the other 2 even though they were all rated around the same cfms.

Never mind I found the info about the CFMs...forgot you want air exchanged 3-5 times per minute instead of just 1. So I need a 240-400 CFM fan...hopefully I can find something cheap and not too loud with this rating.

Less moving parts = less likely to fail. Also makes the ballast quieter. Plus from what I've heard the fans are usually the first thing to go. Which makes sense since all the primo brands like Lumatekdon't have the internal fans.
