    tiny yellow tipping? Nute burn?

Investigation closed....? Blueberry is hypersensitive to nutes. If this is the case.... How can you reduce the Blueberry's concentration of nutes but leave the Liberty Haze on a stronger mix? I use a Wilma ebb and flow SO it's like communist horticulture - every plant is equal.

    tiny yellow tipping? Nute burn?

I still cannot see yellow tips. Maybe a close up pic of the offending leaf tips - taken in natural light. She's a looker, though. Going to break some hearts.

Can someone tell me why the fuck you've put this post in my thread about fans? Start your own thread, dumbass.

In-line Fan, JUST TO COOL LIGHTS....?

For my 4 x 4 x 6ft tent, with 600wHPS, I use a 6" Ruck fan with a 6" Rhino filter. Now I plan on buying a ventilated reflector BUT would prefer not to connect it all up to my Ruck/Rhino set up. I would much rather connect the reflector up to a single purpose fan. Any suggestions about a...

Light mover AND ventilated 'cool tube' reflectors....Possible?

I've been toying with the idea of a light mover but I think that ventilated reflectors are the single most important thing to up the light AND lower the heat. I wouldn't want to sacrifice the ventilation to my lights BUT I cannot imagine how ducting could run to 2 (or more) reflectors that are...

Interesting (or weird) Thought/Question on PH

I use hydro and clay pebbles. 5.2 to 6.2 are the acceptable range (5.8 being perfect). The pebbles have no nutrition so, I imagine, are similar to straight vermiculite.

First Grow - Looking for suggestions and advice

1 - Hi-jacking someone else's thread to bombard the OP with questions is bad form. 2 - There are far too many variables to try and guess how much you could grow OR how long it would take. If you really want to try then start a small, simple operation. Learn how to control pH and EC levels, read...

First Grow - Looking for suggestions and advice

Yes - You did mention that. In fact it was the 'nute burn' comment that grabbed my attention, as I was going through the exact same predicament. Bagseed....? This term is not one that is used in UK and I'm not familiar with it. From your context I'm guessing that Bagseed is seeds from some...

    First DIY Hydro Grow

pH and EC are important - especially at the seedling stage. EC, CF and PPM (of TDS) are, confusingly, different scales for measuring essentially the same thing. EC (Electrical Conductivity) and CF (Conductivity Factor) EC 1,0 = CF 10 EC 1,0 - PPM 500 EC x 10 = CF EC x 500 = PPM CF x 50 = PPM...

First Grow - Looking for suggestions and advice

They're some STRONG looking roots fighting their way out of the rockwool! Did you use Rhizotonic or H&G Root Stimulator? As I've already mentioned, I've never started seeds. Around here everyone buys cutting off each other BUT I want to be self sufficient AND grow different strains to the ones...

Rhizotonic - How to use on 2 week old cuttings....

I've had my cuttings in clay pebbles for 12 days. The reservoir had gone up to EC 1.6 and started to cause nute burn. Now I've brought the EC and pH down to suitable levels. Today I've prepared a 50litre barrel of water with Aqua Vega A & B but I am unsure of how to use the Rhizotonic. Any...

First Grow - Looking for suggestions and advice

Hi IHateBuying.....(Do you answer to a shorter name?) If you click on the first icon above the message space - it's a A/A looking thing, you can use paragraphs and the usual aspects of written English that our generation is so attached to. My first posts were one paragraph affairs and I hated...

    If God Exists....

If God truly exists, And Creationists are the people with the correct idea of how the World was made, What was God trying to tell us when he located our planet in the lifeless vacuum of space? Was this the action of a loving and benign God? Christopher Hitchens used to say that he...

SMSCOM DUAL CONTROLLER - Opinions welcome

Hello likeminded adults. Today I was offered an 'SMSCOM DUAL CONTROLLER'. Apparently it controls up to 2 fans (in-take RUCK/RVK) and, by controlling the fans power, can maintain a temperature to +/- 1 degree. A 5m probe reads the temps. Here's an advertisement for a new one...

First Grow - Looking for suggestions and advice

I'm doing my first grow - after 20 years of it being a major ambition. So I know where you're coming from. I bought 9 cuttings and put them in 18lt pots of clay pebbles over a Wilma ebb & flow hydro under a 600w dual spectrum light in a 4 x 4 x 6' tent...... Next time I intent to start from...

people that just walk in at 4 am..

You need to avoid the action movies, for a time.... It seems you're starting to think you live in the type of place where it's acceptable to shoot people for incidents that cause you no threat or fear for your own safety. It all sounds very tough, very macho, very Lee Marvin but, in reality...

Alternative Futures - Life under President Palin.

Washington DC, 05/12/2011 After the surprise auto erotic accidental death of President John McCain, on 03/19/2011, President Sarah Palin was sworn in as America's first woman president. In her first 8 weeks as leader of the free world President Palin has caused an irreparable breach in the...

Freak Accident leads to Monstrous Revelation.....

Because of its location I try not to enter/exit my grow area during office hours. It's near to several small businesses that operate on the 8am to 6pm schedule and, when opening the doors, the noise attracts attention. When the doors are closed the sound proofing works wonderfully but this may...
