If light was the issue here why are they burned from light man?

I am only using one of the lights since it is a young seedling didn't want to burn it still ended up burned

I Am aware that they stretch for light but the light has burned it so it doesn't make sense to me

Hey all sorry for the late reply been busy with work yesterday the seedlings taproot was popping out of the bottom so I transplanted it into this pot I can confirm light was definitely not the issue with the stretching because today I have noticed the tips burned should I cover the burned tips...

No worries any grow knowledge will help me at this point bit clueless.

Thanks for all the input im using a HPS 600w light kit.I think I'll stop worrying to much and see how it goes.

Yes that is what has confused me since it is getting plenty of light, 600watts of it still stretched to this.

I was thinking of starting this in a 5 litre Coco plug but that seemed a bit overkill so went with a smaller jiffy

Hey all first time grower here this seedling is 2 days old and has stretched a ridiculous amount when it has been under constant light since it sprouted the lights are 4 inches away from it why is it still stretching?
