If I'm missing the joke, my bad.
This thread isn't all about saving the world and stopping global warming (which I think is bullshit anyway) It's for the members who don't have a money tree growing in their backyard, and want to save a few pennies.
Cheap Basterd.
Same with University halls. All the shit they can't take with them at the end of term (got this idea from the book I posted a few pages back)
Like I said, once you have your eyes open to looking for useful shit the options are limitless. You'll see stuff everywhere.
Happy hunting.
Cheap Basterd
Stealing from the needy. Shame on you. I Joke!
Around my way there is some serious shit to be had. A few months ago I found a pair of Timberland pants worth at least $100 that had a stain on them. Washed them and the stain was gone. All good in my opinion.
Holy shit that is perfect for this thread. Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys was all about living on the cheap. Repairing shopping carts to pay for food for his kitties Lol. And Ricky living in a car. Fucking love Trailer Park Boys.
Following on from my Dumpster Diving Thread, I thought I'd see how all the RUI Members save money, cut corners, hustle, ETC!
So, share with us how you all save money, make extra money, and re-use shit.
Cheap Basterd.

Thanks for the compliment.
You'd surprised at the stuff people throw away. Once you tune your eyes to looking you'll see stuff everywhere.

Latest find: A poster sized mirror with a pine frame that someone threw out. The mirror was cracked so I flipped it so the wooden backing was facing where the mirror was. Spray painted the wood black and spray mounted a Pulp Fiction poster to it.
Here she is.
It's happened on a few occasions in my drinking career. Only when I'm proper wasted though. Thinking about it now, I was dying to take a piss and couldn't find the door. I must have blacked-out and just pissed in the drawer. Luckily nothing was damaged, and it was an easy clean up job.
Sucks...
Sweet. Haha getting wasted on confiscated pig beer is awesome.
I Craigslist is a really good resource. I know a guy on another Forum that built a Cabin from free and cheap stuff from Craigslist.
Lucky for me where I DD there aren't any Junkies. Worse I have to keep an eye out for is broken glass. It's the same as everything in life, keep your wits about you and be aware of your surroundings.
Anybody interested in living cheaply and saving money should check out this book. It was written in the 70's, there's still a lot of useful information that holds up in the modern day era.
