some guy in tampa was growing in an old bomb shelter... and the pot cave was awesome too lol. as far as cabs though i like the millspride type cabs and there was somebody on here that converted an old projection TV into a box.. that was cool IMO

people that scrog generally top the plant and then veg it for a period of time to fill part of the screen then flower when there is some growth showing through the screen. . CFL do not have allot of penetration so either one of these methods will give it more surface area in the effective range...

love the tv idea, is there anyway to vent that HPS outside the box.

hey cl!ck. what are your ambient and inside temperatures. i am currently getting parts for my own pc grow. "only done larger scale before" and i was thinking of doing a simular setup>> "70w hps or mh from lowes " they are $45 here lol. im just wondering on how much ventilation i will need...

it may do better with some sort of passive intake on the bottom and having the top fans just exhaust.. maybe on the glowing lid deal...you can paint it black and then cover it with an emergency blanket ??? i dunno if a layer of black then flat white over that ?? im not sure i never done anything...

have you done a dry run for a few hours and take a temperature reading ?? It may be worth doing and knowing what your conditions are before the plants go in. it sucks to run into problems once things are rolling. about your soil question.. I've read to water it till water comes out the bottom...
