This is a soil grow. I'm actually running my lights at 16/8 ... maybe I'll bump that up to 18/6. I've also replaced 2 of the CFLs with 40watters, instead of the 20watt ones I had. Let's see if this makes a difference.

I'm running 4x T5 up the side of my grow box , and 3x 52W CFL bulbs on the top.

Update. They are getting very full, but not too high. I bumped them up closer to the CFL's by another plastic box (not illustrated in photos). I am HOPING that one is a female. There is definately a more dominant plant here, and to make things worse, the weaker one had a watering accident...

OK.. update - of the four seeds, only 3 germinated. After I moved them to the pucks, only 2 survived. Odds are 50/50 that one of them is a female, so we'll go with that for now! I reassembled the grow box and moved the pucks into pots. They are about 2 inches tall now and showing inch long...

switched over to the paper towel method... 3 of the 4 seeds i attempted have germinated. moved all seeds over to the "pucks" with delicate precision. Put them in a plastic nursing container in a warm room. Will start them on 16 hours of daylight tommorow.

Hi widowman, thanks for chiming in. I've got a top and bottom fan in my grow box which is baffled to move air up and over the plants. The soil I bought was sterilized with added perlite. A friend of mine is going to give me the rest of his fertiliser supply which seemed to work well for him.
