so now my question is why do i have so meny roots i have seen the same thing done a couple things diifrent like humidity temp and stuff but they are in a 1.5 gallon

i have a couple plants growing and one i have ben try low stress training on it and now its about a foot tall and in a 5 gallon bucket....but i just looked at the bottom a sec ago and i have two to three inch roots pooking out the bottom...from what ive read its rootbound or close to...
