Yeah, that's what I'm going to do If it's dry a few inches in, I'm watering it. I like your idea of checking the soil from the bottom using the drainage holes, that sounds like a pretty good idea I also foliage feed every now and then, spray the leaves pretty good with water.

Here's some updated pics, these are day 11 in soil I've still got a little yellow on the leaves, one still looks burnt a little, but it doesn't look like it's getting worse. Overall they look pretty healthy even though there's a little color issue. I'm just letting it ride out here, still...

Yeah I didn't do my research before purchasing and I figured I could stick this down into liquids and test those also, but apparently you can't :( I tested one day after watering, and my plants were on the 'dryest' level! One day after! So I don't know what to do here....go by what people say...

Yeah I don't know I decided to water them. It's only been 2 days, but the soil was dry a few inches deep when I stuck my finger in, so I figured they could use a little water. I also moved my lights away a little bit. Maybe they were just too close, producing too much heat, whatever...
