Regurgitating a thread from 10 years ago just to agree?

Well that’s a wrap! Harvested, washed, and now the last 2 are drying. Pushed em as long as I could. Aside from a couple days in a week or so of dry trim/jar that’ll do it. Looking forward to final yield numbers from the 5 girls.

For me a bowl trimmer would have probably been the best this year. For what I have compared to cost. But I honestly never knew these things existed. I do like it as I start, it’s nice to really get in there, enjoy the smell. It’s after hours of it I find it really hard on my back. But with 2 to...

Outdoor 5x20. But no it’s been avg 9oz per plant for first 3. With 2 left. But either way. Anything to speed it up with out compromise would help. 8-9hrs sets my back on fire. But hey… almost there. 2 to go. Some good suggestions here. The bag is quite expensive compared to the bowl.

I take all major fans off as I harvest. Dry it. It’s been a perfect 60RH once in jar after roughly 7 days of drying at 65F 55-60RH in dry room. But I’m consistent at an ounce an hour. I don’t break much either. Just cleaning snips. Bout it.

Next year guys. Trim bag or bowl 100%. The bowl seems way less expensive.cause yeah…. I’m too fussy, and I ain’t getting any quicker. Lol

Well I could change the title to be more specific. I hate trim, and jar day. Part 3/3rd plant. 8.80oz. Beautiful lemon smell to this Lemon Haze. I’m not getting any faster. Another solid 9hrs. Lol. 3 down 2 to go. Chop last 2 from the dirt on Wednesday.

For sure! There’s definitely some options. I’ll have some time to think about it.

    Burping/curing

I jarred up at 55rh(second plant)exactly 7 days ago. Burped daily 5 min let’s say. Rh maintained at 55rh after a week. I’m really just looking at it like I’m exchanging the air as it breaks down chlorophyll. 3-5min exchange the O2 seal it back up. That 55rh might be curing a little slower than...

    Burping/curing

Yeah agree. Makes sense. My 60RH stuff went into cure a little hay smell. But returned to dank after 10 days burp. Still sits at 58/59rh. Just takes time to break down chlorophyll. But my 55rh stuff hay for a day or two. But with a daily burp it’s maintained 55rh

    Burping/curing

At 55rh it probably take more than a burp to fall out of cure zone. I have one plant curing at 60RH. Burped daily for a couple weeks. Started off little hay smell. Now stinky dank as all hell. Prob go to a once a week burp(O2 exchange). Other plant curing a week now at 55rh. I exchange O2(burp)...

Thanks! I got lucky by only having rot in a few spots on the one plant I had to toss, the other 5 including these 2 have been rot free. I do find it interesting how bud rot develops. The only plant that had it was a total under performer. Never really grew well in flower from the start. Nothing...

That is also a great idea. Never thought of that. Something to consider. I’m honestly thinking of a few options. Like light dep hoop house to transition to flower earlier. But honestly I think I’ll just do two plants next year. 5/6 too much for me. So lots to think about. I use my guest room...

Fair enough. Solid advice. Thanks. I see one bred for the area I live in is okanogan grape. I live just minutes north in the Shuswap. But same climate. But can’t find Fem. I don’t have the time or space to experience with reg seeds. I need the guarantee. But I’ll keep the search alive.

Thanks. I appreciate that. I’ve already taken 3. These are the last two. The ones I took first had a few weeks on these in regards to when they started. But I tried everything with building that tarp awning. I sure learned a lot of “fast” seed strains, as in, it means nothing. Lol. I’ll search...

I’m pushing it as long as I can. But Wednesday will be the day to chop the last 2. Can’t believe I’ve even made it to 12 weeks. Survived a frost, and most days been mid 40’s nights high 30,s. But after Wednesday it’s 37F highs 26F lows (3C-3C) and wet snow here and there. My window has closed...

Can the purple leaves be a sign of a mold starting? She's 7½ weeks into flowering and the leaves have started turning purple fading.

Thanks. Love the purples. Genetics. Cold weather. Not sure exactly where it comes from, but it’s worked out for me. Lots of write ups on here regarding mould. Embrace the purpling, you start seeing grey, mush, webbing. Than worry bout mould.
