CFLs should be more what your looking for. low cost. dont give off alot of heat. compact. its hard to go wrong. i got a pack of 4 for around $7 at wal-mart

try getting another fan in there to cool things down, or try leaving the door open for a lil while during the day

haha o wow. that was a funny ass link. lol and to think this character really beleives CFLs are the cause of burning houses and kids dying everywhere. lol. i use CFLs and have never had a fire hazard or issues with them overheating.

naw the only negatives is bringing in unwanted bugs, as was just stated above me

thats why i dont even like buying glass bowls anymore just because i know they are going to end up broken or lost

yea you should be good depending on how big it is and how long you plan on veggin. but i guess on average you need 2-4lights per plant
