i have a chiller on mine an set to 20c for res temp. my humidity sit at about 70% till i see roots then i start to bring it down. humidity needs to be higher if don't want your leaves to droop an twist imo. White powder? don't know what u mean

Answered your own question high nutes will cause this. Also most nutes do have brown/black colour which can stain your roots. As long as keep your Res temp an there is no slime an plants are healthy I wouldn't worry
