If you're an expert on ventilation, I could use your input!

Pretty sure he got that chart from this site http://www.just4growers.com/stream/temperature-humidity-and-c02/vapor-pressure-deficit-the-hidden-force-on-your-plants.aspx it measures something called Vapor Pressure Deficit or VPD. Good article but again I think it stresses RH a bit too much

If you're an expert on ventilation, I could use your input!

Fair enough. I just see people on here telling new growers to go buy a humidifier and waste all this money so I just try to give a different perspective on RH and growing. Yea anyone who says raise your RH in flower should not be giving advice, you're right that's crazy. Agreed, not here to...

Plus having high RH isn't even preferred when flowering...

If you're an expert on ventilation, I could use your input!

So many ways. There are numerous things that you could argue are the "best thing" you can do for you plants, but high RH? There are so many other facets of growing that would be considered by many much more important than the RH of your grow room. Nutes, lighting, soil, temps, to name a few...

If you're an expert on ventilation, I could use your input!

True for both cases. For me personally, drying is the only time I aim to raise the humidity in my tent, and then it's as simple as turning off my exhaust fan and it'll usually bump it up 10-15%

If you're an expert on ventilation, I could use your input!

I agree. Obviously there is a sweet spot of RH, just like there are with all the facets of growing, but I've found that having a low RH has not hindered me in any way.

    First Grow Deficiency problems

I wouldn't flush at all, I'd just water with plain pH'd water for awhile. You're not at the point of flushing imo but I've always considered flushing overkill anyways. Usually if you just water with plain water your plant will recover faster than if you did a flush

    I got out of bed

If you're an expert on ventilation, I could use your input!

You could buy a speed controller for the fan and turn it down, that might be your easiest option. Why are you trying to raise your humidity anyways? 40-50% is completely fine. I grow with 20% RH, sometimes even lower, through veg and flower and it's fine. It seems like your spending a lot of...

    First Grow Deficiency problems

Yea looks like toxicity, but hard to say. I'd switch back to the regular tap water at least until you get new growth that looks good and the problem stops spreading. It's young so it should recover. Idk what soil test kit you got from wally-world but I'd never trust a soil test myself. Just make...

    Denver ~ Colorado

Yea just a little rain, luckily we all survived, even threw a little thunder in there. You know it's spring when the thunderstorms start coming in. I can't wait, I know it's been a somewhat of a easy/mild winter but I'm ready for some sun. I love people out here though, once that shit hits 60...

    LSD road trip

Just my personal opinion from experience, but psychs and road trips/being in the car does not work for me. I tend to get cagey though and want to walk around or just move

    Ketogenic diet

That's the idea, but this diet alone won't make you not get fat. A lot of people do lose weight when they start this diet though, and that's because you burn all your stored carbs (glycogen) and they can hold up to 4x their weight in water. Essentially your losing a bunch of water weight, so, in...

    Ketogenic diet

Went on a little vaca there, again, but I'm back with my report. So today would be day 15, roughly two weeks in and feeling pretty good so far. Was fairly difficult to stick to the diet on the trip, if you ever tried to get anything at a restaurant that for sure doesn't have added sugar you know...
