I put mine in 12/12 before they show preflowers, maybe just a couple weeks veg. I like to keep them smaller so I can run more of them in my 4x4. I've got 4 Apollo11 and 5 MendoPurps wookies going. Probably 1 more week of stretch before they officially start flowering.

I used to grow 12/12 a few years back. Not all strains react well to it, that's for sure. Grape ape has purps in it, which are slow to veg in normal conditions. I can totally see how they would crawl under 12/12 and probably not get too big. Your plant looks healthy.

How big was your plant that you hung up? I'm just wondering how months at 40%RH did not turn that into dust. Even hanging my plants whole in the winter-time, I've got to do everything I can to slow the dry down to a couple weeks. Sounds like your closet has perfect conditions.

For this size plant I would not cut off a single trichome. Any leaf or "bud" that has trichs on it, leave it and smoke it! I would also let it ripen at least for a few more weeks.
