it probably will. I thought that may have been the issue, couldnt tell exactly from the pic. after a 12 soak and the husk came off mine as they pushed through the root cube.. but not the leaves. did you soak them?

Yes, your right. your looking for brown pistils, if buds are still fluffy and pistils are swelling and still straight - not ready. if pistils are curling all back into the bud so it looks less fuzzy and slightly less puffy, the pistils on that bud will be mostly brown, good luck

Was the seed a little bit tight inside for room and couldn't turn properly? I use a pencil and widen the hole without deepening too much. good luck
