    First outdoor grow. Big plants!

Anyway whatever you are doing stick with it. You might want to consider using compost and accumulator plant teas when you get to flowers (or anytime). They build the microbes and provide excellent nutrition. Plus they are easy and free. Loads of recipes in stickies in organic forum. Some are...

    harvesting pollen

Thanks so much for the info. Obviously I am worried about allowing a male to mature in proximity to my females. Here's a scheme, curious if you think it smart; Remove all males from garden early except a single good specimen. Prune to nothing but one or two tops and some fan leaves to support...

    First outdoor grow. Big plants!

Very nice. Keep it simple, smart and organic. If they were mine I might do a little pruning down below and inside just to improve airflow, but tbh, nature builds plants her way for a reason and your babies look healthy as can be. Good luck.

    First outdoor grow. Big plants!

Very nice. Sex, strain? Backpack makes me think you are gorilla style. Looks like you picked a good spot too. How long in the ground and how are you feeding?

    harvesting pollen

Hoping to acclimatize some stuff I'm growing. Need to make seed and wondered how early pollen is viable as I want to cull males early yet hang on go some pollen. Do flowers have to be open or can you cut early and let flowers bloom in a vase somewhere far from females? Also I'm not sure at what...

    Michigan Med outdoors 15

Garden looks great. Curious if they are highly trained or is it strain that makes that awesome 'bowl'. Also, looks like you might be in the suburbs. Glad you have a dog and I hope he knows how to bark. Hope you don't mind me commenting. Good luck.

to fim or not to fim?

Hi Thanks for responding.I appreciate your opinion. In the end I couldn't bring myself to do it. Worried that I didn't fully grasp the technique and the plants would be unhappy and delay flowers. Instead, I decided to just train by bending the tops down and tying them them off. It ought to get...

Hi all, Wonder if anybody has any tips or tricks for drying in a hot climate. Even in September the temps can be in the 90s and without ac or swamp coolers my drying room just isn't cool enough.ny I get a decent cross draft but know its too hot for a nice slow dry. Any ideas? A

When can i start grow journal?

I started mine yesterday. Signed up the day before. Didn't know you are supposed to establish yourself first. I read the rules but perhaps I missed it. Anyhow can't see why one should wait. Expect someone will explain. Mine is Organic in Napa. Check it out. Its pretty crap ....ha.

    Seedling help!!

Temps and humidity seem OK. Seedlings need to be moist but shouldn't be kept saturated. Also wonder your growing in, soil or another? No nutrient needed so young. They ought be OK in soil but if it's too hot (rich) it will fry them. Put up pics.. Good luck.

New to organics and need serious help!!!

Got any pics? Curious if you have experience with those strains and if they are exhibiting differently this time? Is the plant generally healthy looking; good color, plenty of spring in the stems? If so I would be patient. Plants can go a little quiet at the start of flowering but will take...

to fim or not to fim?

Growing outdoors in Northern California. Organic. Bag seed mostly. Planted in late May. Still a week or two from determining sex. I have limited space and planted quite tight, anticipating the when the males are removed there should be plenty of space for the rest. Starting to see a hint of...

    Organic in Napa

Did some training this morning. Just bending and tying off top shoots. Ought to help make a canopy as I'm planted a little tight. Half the grow is bag seed and they are still a week or so away from showing their gender. If 50% are removed then there ought to be plenty of space for what's left...

Bagseed grow, 12-12 from seed under a 400hps in a tent!

Also I notice your plants are a little droopy. Happiest plant are all sprung and upstanding. Curious about your light cycle and how often you water....

Bagseed grow, 12-12 from seed under a 400hps in a tent!

Fair enough. Got to say though, growing gets more complex by the minute and I'm not sure it need be. Scanning grow journals I am seeing such complex feeding routines and so many products and additives. I am convinced the majority is snake oil and marketing. You do need the correct feeding...

Bagseed grow, 12-12 from seed under a 400hps in a tent!

Hey, Sounds like you have organized your setup well. Definitely think you need to pay attention to heat and airflow when using tents. Curious why you are using so many additives beyond the General Hydroponics Gro,Micro and Bloom. They are pretty complete. Think most of the rest is unnecessary...

Growing in Northern California. Drip line irrigation. Strains: Sour Diesel Orange Tangie Blue Dream Chisel Gelato Plus a bunch of seed of unknown strains collected from those rare occasions you find a seed in sensi. Fun, as you have a one of a kind strain you get to name for yourself. Don't...
