there is nothing wrong with using that sized light. Understand that light looses its strength exponentially with distance. this chart shows light power at inches away from the bulb. You want to stay in the white, the higher the better. So in small situations, you want to look at LST...

Your soil is a little hot. You could flush with water to leech out some of the excess nutrients. I don't think I wouldn't do a total flush that gets rid of all nutrients though. too much shock for the plant and you still need some nutrients. But keep holding off on feeding until they start...

Yeah dude, that looks pretty great for a first grow. You wont see it get much taller at this point. Those white hairs will keep growing out, but soon it will also start to thicken also and put on weight... Then in the last few weeks the hairs will golden and almost tuck in, starting to look...

Welcome to RIU. It is budding. I don't like that the hairs are orange already. Normally the hairs will by nice and white, and not really seeing any oranges until the last month or so of flowering. Do you have a picture of the whole plant?

I have run a few arzan's Haze #2. Not the biggest yielder, but the bud was really good. No problems growing though
