You could pack them tight in a jar once dry enough, but if anything they will end up "airier" as they lose some water mass. What strain?

I have the HTG setup and it is a good deal. The ballast works as advertised. It has a cooling fan, so it makes a little noise, but nothing that is too bad. The cordset and socket are high quality. The bulb supplied seems to be adequate, though I think that just about any 600W HPS is capable...

Okay, update. The buds have been packing on the weight. I am especially happy with what the White Widows have done. They looked a little anemic last week, but now look almost ready to harvest. Trichs on the lower buds are about 75% milk with no amber. Harvested what is ready from them...

The Moon is a Harsh Mistress is one of my all time favorites. Old, but a great read. Takes a little too get used to the writing style. Have to agree on Fear and Loathing as well. Very fun read indeed. The movie was crap compared to the actual text, IMO.

Yep, ya got a girl there. Do you have them on 12/12 lighting and bloom nutes yet? The 12/12 is the biggest part. I usually start the "bud" clock a week after the lighting switch and then I also change from my veg nutes for flower specific.

Check of on curing techniques and they will turn out awesome! I am going to dry mine over about 5 days and then into mason jars it goes. I figure it will take a month or so for the finished product, but the wait is well worth it!

I heard those big CFL's do a good job of vegging. Cool and efficient. The HPS systems though, they are really great for flowering. Cannot wait to see some pics!
