Thanks bugeye, that relieves some of my tension. The cupping has diminished actually. But what about about the purple petioles? The most heavily affected one is of the penultimate fan leaf and it's quite droopy... The other ones are looking stiff. Nitrogen deficiency maybe? Please help, I...

Hey everyone, having some issues with a sativa I'm growing. The leaves are cupping even with the lights off so I know it's not heat stress, what are other causes for the raised edges? Moisture retention? I just watered them yesterday and I live in a very humid environment. There's also a...

Preventing landrace sativa from becoming rootbound?

Appreciate all the help guys! I've contemplated quite a bit about transplanting straight to the ground, only issue is that the soil where I live sucks. It's loaded with clay and completely red, but if I were to put them in the ground should I amend the soil or just buy fresh soil and replace...

Preventing landrace sativa from becoming rootbound?

Thanks for the reply wyteberry, I'll be vegin inside and flowering outside as I live in the tropics and it's pretty much always 12/12. So unlimited space vertically, but should I still only veg for a few week and if so, should I start the seed in a 5 gallon pot? I have solo cups/.75...

Preventing landrace sativa from becoming rootbound?

Hello everyone, I just ordered some Malawi, Panama, Congo and Zamaldelica from ACE seeds and I'm wondering what my lighting regiment should be to prevent these long-flowering strains from becoming root-bound in a 5 gallon pot? Should I flower them as soon as they are transplanted in to their...

oooh let me start by thanking the both of you for the replies. The compost, castings and manure were all store bought. I live in Brazil so they're not brands you'd recognize. Shit, I don't even know them lol I was living in the U.S. only four months ago. I believe I did about 1:1 ratio of...

God fucking damn it. Found out my Ph was not so off after learning i have to leave the meter sitting in the soil for 10 minutes. It's a little acidic at 5.5 but I added some dolomite i bought today. Well when I watered my plant these fuckers came up. There were more too. They are definitely...

Thanks for the reply booms! Yea the pH was was taken with a shitty 15 dollar meter. She just got transferred to this pot less than 2 weeks ago, she's still quite small for age. Does nitrogen lock out happen with low ph? Should I flush? This is driving me nuts lol

Hey everyone, I'm experiencing some yellowing of my seedling's 2nd set of leaves. The cotyledons have almost fallen off now that it has just crossed the 3 week mark. It's not completely yellow, I'd say it's a mix of lime green and yellow. The formation of new fan leaves on top is also coming...

Complementing outdoor veg with indoor artificial light?

Thanks for the reply veggie! I'm not sure I follow you though. So you're saying I should turn on the CFL's for one hour a few hours before sunrise to keep it in veg? Also I don't have the ability to get CFL's outside in my garden, that's why I thought it would be easier to just let them...

Complementing outdoor veg with indoor artificial light?

Hey everyone, I live in a tropical area where at max I get 13 hours of light per day and minimum 11 throughout the whole year. I know, this is perfect for Sativas but I love me some Indicas too:weed: So if I were to start veging some indicas and left them outdoors for the 11-13 hours and...
