    Adding vertical light

Was playing with the same thought as that the other day! Water cooled hexagonal bars hung vertically! Got me thinking of a stadium grow with water cooled aluminium box sections hung horizontally one above the other with cobs or f strips either side n just keep turning em on as the plants get...

Sickness or nutrient deficiency or nutrient burn?

Haha started replying last night fell asleep lol! If ur petioles are purpling that's a sign of P deficiency. If you have a healthy microbe population pH is less of an issue have you considered some mammoth P? Some P solublising bacteria would prob help.... Tbh tho sometimes shit happens just...

@Randomblame When youre talking about differing terpene profiles is that something you have tested? Would be cool to see a side by side with lab analysis at the end.....im sure there are concentrate fanatics out there on the bleeding edge of this kinda stuff!

Niiiiiice I am well interested in the results! It would be crazy to be able to get some of those lanky ass sativas to grow more compact. I wonder if you could use the technique to like keep the main stem really short but have the branches stretch like hell lol! :eyesmoke:

I thought there would be more interest in the idea of using spectrum to control hormone response....this guy claims he has spent 5+ years playing with the concept and has looks like he has had interesting results.....even seems to be trying to patent it! so there must be someone else here who...

Sickness or nutrient deficiency or nutrient burn?

Okay are you using any microbe products cause unless u are overdoing it with ur Bloom formula it looks like ur having potash deficiencies in some leafs and phosphorus in others n ur buds look good so I reckon u might be having some pH issues which are locking out some important macro nutes (imo...

    having to pull early

I would just keep it as is although the far red and uvb would help some ur so far along now that it's not going to make too much difference imo. How are your trichs looking? :)

Sickness or nutrient deficiency or nutrient burn?

Couple of questions What media are u growing in? What nutes u using? Is the discolouring happening in newer growth or in older larger fan leaves?

I've played around with one with hps on top n got good results I'd imagine you would do even better with the multiple light sources and lovely spread of those leds! :)

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

Reppin the dgc! Lol ;) Yeah I wouldn't bother flushing cause that's looking like potassium issue how much of that Bloom did u top dress? N how big r ur pots? Cause if it gets worse every watering with plain water it's ur top dress causing the issue Edit: should scroll to the bottom before...

Selective light training Super angry guy style

I don't think you read the whole post tbh..this is more about light spectrum not leds vs hps. I am well versed in leds so understand what u are saying. This is about light spectrum and using different spectrums on certain parts of the plant to elicit hormonal and physical change like shorter...

I can't find anything about this

I would say it's chlorosis usually caused by a iron deficiency and a high lime content but sometimes is a lack of light or all three. Oops didn't read properly n assumed it was on new growth lol! Like @Thegermling suggests below epsom salts help if you have mag sulphate in foliar spray form...

I need help ‘reading’ my trichomes.

LOL don't struggle personally and I'm glad that you are experienced enough to be successful but when first starting out it helps to avoid problems If you can get an understanding of the process and the variables you need to keep an eye on. I know that back in the day I harvested at a time of...
