I just got back from Walmart cruising the clearance section of lawn & garden and bought an 8lb bag of Osmocote + for $15, and a gallon size jug of earthworm castings for $2.50. Can the castings be used with Osmocote? On a side note, not a single CFL bulb in the place! uh oh

Another twist. I just had 8 new medium size cloth grocery bags given to me. They measure out to 4.28 gallons per bag. With a pan in the bottom for a reservoir, could these work with chunky perlite as a hempy machine?

In an effort to stay legal in my state and clandestine in my home, what would I need to keep a steady perpetual grow going with no more than 4 plants in flower at any given time, no more than 8 ounces ready to consume at any given time with a consumption rate of maybe 4 ounces per month?

New guy here. I've been gathering what I need for this K.I.S.S. method but my local store only had the chunky perlite in 4 cu ft bags. Will hydroton work just as well?
