You was rite man I bought a pulse start one and it sparked straight away and I veg with 2x 200w CFL that's why I was upgrading to mh and flower with 600w hps

So your telling me this £130 digital ballast won't spark a mh when it's meant to do both I don't believe that what so ever, I'm sending the bulb back and going to try another brand

Well is the bulb the problem or not because I've checked the lamp all wires, ballast is working fine don't understand why it's not firing
