Yes where the fan barely hits is where I see normal growth. But under the other fan I have a blue dream and that one is doing great. I have that fox tail looking plant which is called white knuckles from seed. I have 2 more going next to it and those look perfect.

I typically start doing that at that same stage yours is in. Just keep doing the same thing untill u feel like is enough of a big size for you. I keep mine around 2 and a half feet all around. nice looking umbrella, (2 months in veg) then it goes under the scrog net for flowering time. =) -Jugz
