Flipping plants to 12/12 in about 2 weeks should I defoliate before flip?

Im Pretty new to growing indoors but I’ve been using the spiderfarms sf2000 for my 2x2, vegs 3x4, flowers a 3x3, pulls 205 Watts from the wall. If your thinking of going led thats my suggestion

Will the new growth in the middle produce buds or should they be removed?

Thanks for the response, I usually water every 2 days or so so yes I did water it, I’ll hold off on the next watering, you might be on to something lol and I’ll dim the lights some, I have the lights at about 20 inches away

So I was running a 600w blurple light, 2 days ago I received my new sf2000 light, and plant seems to be stressed out from the light, I’m pretty new to growing indoors is this normal? I’ll post pictures of it under the burple, the day I installed the lights and now. Thanks for any information

first time growing so any advise is greatly appreciate. started the plant from bag seeds, just got new spider farms sf2000 replacing a old 600w blurple light in a 24x24 tent anyone tell if this plant is a male or female?
