The ground will allow for a bigger root system, unless you dig tiny holes. Also you won't need to water as often if they are in the ground. However, the nice thing with pots is that you can move them if you need to.

I may be incorrect in this but I went with the Peace of Mind Bulb food I think it's 3-8-8. I went with this over the others because the PK ratio was higher than the N which is what you want for flowering. This is the 1st time using it so I can't comment on the results yet.

I don't think the high temps are optimal for your roots but I don't think you will see any adverse affects from it. To keep em cooler you could try placing the pots in holes and/ or add some straw to the top of the soil to help keep it cooler and to retain moisture.

I have read some things in another post that made it sound like BUKU should NOT be topped as the stress will cause it to hermie. The BUKU I have seen growing (with no topping) seems to be a single cola type plant without any side branching. Is this typical of BUKU or will it get branchy later...

The shade won't effect when the plant will flower. Not sure on the whole science behind other than saying that nature knows what it's doing. Sounds like you have plenty of sun as well, I have seen plants do OK on 4-5 hours of direct light so you should be more than fine.
