Fighting for the finish line. New member needs help.

Build a soil is what I’m doing my next grow. Light mix for seedlings. Then transplant to 3.0 mix. After that I’ll just be amending and reusing.

Curious about banana foliage feeding. Any input?

If you google you can find the recipe. Just need a chunk of aloe, put in blender with a little bit of water to make a gel. Then dilute gel into water and use immediately. Aloe has to be used within 20 min from being peeled/blended. After that it loses a lot of its nutritional value

My opinion is Fox farm soil is good enough to grow...but you need to amend more into it to make it more complete. I amended mine with azomite, bio-live, more perlite and Diatomaceous earth. Seems to me that the magnesium runs out quickly in that soil.

    Bottom leaves dying

when transplanting, you dont have to wet the whole medium. i'm guessing you watered the whole gallon of soil til run off? or til it was wet? might have been too much for the roots to handle. just, when transplanting in the future, especially if its hot soil, just water up to where the rim of the...

    Humidity help!!

i had the same issue. i got a humidity controller attached to a small humidifier, and a temp controller attached to my outtake fan. To supplement more humidity, i also hand two wet towels in my tent and it helped stabilize my RH. now my tent runs on a pretty constant 80F/70RH during veg.

    Help with seedlings please idk

I’d aim for 15k lux and dial it up gradually as they grow. And keep the media moist but not wet.

Yeah. I was mainly looking to keep the topsoil moist so the mycos can party hearty there. Lol. I will give hay a try once I’m down with my straw. Which will be a while. Lol. I do want to pick up a bale of alfalfa tho. Use for teas.
