Venting into a COLD attic. Advice Please

all depends on humidity. I vent into an attic and it gets cold here, but it's also very dry, so I never had an issue. I know that people in humid environments can't vent into attics unless the attic itself is vented because of moisture. Where I live they advise using humidifiers to prevent...

is that one of the lenses to adapt the microscope eyepiece to a camera? I did a google and just found some nightvision thing that looked like a kids toy, hehe... I'd be curious on the info if it is a microscope eyepiece, and any other feedback you might have. I've been vacillating between...

    Considering LED light for vegging.

There are a growing number of decent looking systems, but a few I have noticed in the past have been http://www.advancedledlights.com/ (all sorts of optics and diode mixes) http://www.stealthled.com/ (mixed if I remember correctly) http://shop.haightsolidstate.com/Products_c2.htm (not familiar...

90 w LED - Need advice qucik! Should I replace with 400 w hps? +rep for the help

if money isn't the issue, then yeah, go led. The heat reduction alone is really worth it if the budget can support it (imo :D). If you're still on the fence, maybe keep what you have and compare it to what you might get from a 200w hid. If you're sold on led, here are some potential places to...

    What wattage is most efficient?

It's a little different with led's than other lighting technologies. Leds are really a combination of a driver, diodes (sometimes called emitters), and optics. The led's themselves will have a power rating, which is how much light is being produced, but the direction of that light is really...

    Considering LED light for vegging.

personally I would look for at least a mix of 1w's with narrow angle optics. Awesome penetration can be had from led, but the idea that more is better usually doesn't pan out when you consider the optics used on 3w led's, when it comes to penetration.

90 w LED - Need advice qucik! Should I replace with 400 w hps? +rep for the help

obviously money is a factor for you, so I'd take the LED back if they'll take it, and get the 400w. LED's are awesome, but you have to spend a lot more to get the equivalent. It doesn't sound to me like it's worth it with your budget to go for something with that sort of premium when HID will...

My current set-up, plan for the future, and I need help deciding between HPS/MH

I wouldn't bother spending anything on CO2, put more money into lights if you must spend it, but co2 won't help you if you haven't dialed in the plant and removed pretty much every possible bottleneck. It's a pretty big investment to find your plants won't grow any faster because you lack...

    What wattage is most efficient?

you are making a faulty assumption that the efficiency of LED is derived from them being in an array, which is not the case. The power factor which the LED's run at is the primary reason for their energy efficiency, though there are some other more technical contributors as well. Similar in...

    No Clue

did you even attempt to narrow it down or decide what sort of requirements you have so that we'd have something to go on? you made a good decision by not buying anything, because it's obvious that you have skipped your planning stage. So jump backwards and tackle that. What is your budget...

Can bud dry in 2 days?

o_O how does drying anything work? Some things that effect drying time: density, size, air movement, ambient humidity, heat. The drying/curing process is about prolonging the length of time they take to dry, without allowing mold and other undesirable to grow. There is also a matter of...

    New grower Long time smoker.

haven't grown that, but have seen a few journals and it looks nifty :) you need to do a little more research on nutes. Those you listed are flower nutes, and at least the second one is a supplement as far I understood (not familiar with the first one you mention). You will need to either use...
