help, im super stupid and the grow shop has no parts at all. I thought you had to drill out two 14 inch holes in the exterior walls then put wall vent caps over them with back draft dampeners. Then one end of the fan goes into the wall and the other provides the intake? Or outtake? WTF...

The inline vent is in the attic with a 14 inch flange in the celing. The attic has millions of little air holes for fresh air. Fan goes in the attic because its massive size and its being so loud. No plants will be in the attic.

What we do in my area is dump it onto the ground and roto it into the earth and amend it with guano and all that. Im right on the river and the soil is rock hard so I must get crafty.
