that second pic is how I commonly see preflowers. They get incredibly plump, and will just stick nearly straight out of the node. Not all strains I have played with do this, but a good many do if I let them veg for any length of time.

you really need more close up pics to be able to say, and really, a microscope looking at trichs is the tell all. If I had to guess from those pics I'd say not ready, but just because they strike me as quite small, but that could just as easily be conditions as ripeness.
